Very interesting book, he is dealing with such slippery concepts that it seems to me that he never proves anything. "The lack of abstraction in the writing reflects itself throughout Chinese thought and discourages the development of the abstract notions of codified law, monotheism, abstract science and deductive logic." Maybe
if I have a few more tokes this would become clear.
