This book is intended as instruction for a professional or semi-professional alterations specialist. The text covers all of the changes from the perspective of changing a finished garment rather than a pattern. In the process it shows what alterations are too difficult (or too costly) to be worth doing. It also covers things like fixing a zipper. There is also a section on pricing alterations work. As a home sewer I find this book very useful for repairing clothes.
