I bought this on a impulse buy at the craft store for a particular riveted skirt project. Upon further reviewing this, a lot of the projects sound fun but the pictures in this book are very hit or miss. It's trying to be "artsy" too much rather than being a helpful diy book.

For example, if you want a step by step sort of thing and want a picture of supplies needed or how to use the tools in case this is your first attempt at sewing. Or maybe you'll just barely get a picture of what the final outcome of the design should look like and nothing in between. Especially if the main focus is a skirt and most of it is COVERED UP so you can't see the details very well.

It may be alright for a few pieces for your "alternative" wardrobe, but wouldn't recommend paying retail for this edition.
