I tend to think that she is innocent since I read the "Monster of Florence". Those Italian police seem to obsessed with kinky sex and the occult. I didn't follow the story in depth but that is the impression I had because of my reading the above mentioned book. I would definitely read a book about the case.

I watched Ophra when Amanda's parents were on there. After her lawyer said there was no evidence of any kind that Amanda did it I tend to believe that she is innocent. I think the Italian media convicted her from the start. Plus their jury system takes anyone no matter if they have been informed about the crime or not. Not a good situation and I hope this isn't the end and final decision on her demise. She needs to have her case reopened. I'm looking forward to reading a book about her trial, etc. It would be very interesting to read.

The kinky sex occult thing seems to be a theme in sensational Italian trials, Look how many people were arrested in The Monster of Florence trial.I think it was the guy they arrested first and tried I think Amanda and her BF were in the wrong place at the wrong time and then acted really wrong but thats not a crime they found the first guys DNAthats PROOF!

I saw her parents on Oprah..and a few things were cleared up..  It was said that she and her boyfriend were shopping in a negligee store the next day....it was really a store like Target and she was getting underwear because they wouldn't let her go back in her apartment.   They reported that she was doing cartwheels at the police station....she had been there for hours and hours and she was stretching and a policeman said what else can you do and she did some stretching thing....not cartwheels.  I think she is innocent but I wonder if she will ever get out of jail.

Its hard telling other countries judicial process are so different then ours and if she would get out it will be a long time from now! It is just like she was crucified for her social networking name Foxy Knoxy first of all it was a nickname given to her by her friends on her soccer team because she was fast and sneaky on the soccer field Compared to alot of the names you see girls her name using it was pretty tame, That creepy guy whose DNA was in the apartment did it. This just shows you should research other countries laws before you travel there.

I saw the interview on Oprah as well.  I go back and forth between thinking she is guilty and innocent.  On one program they said that all DNA from Amanda was wiped away in that house.  How could that be if she lived there?  Why was her cell phone found thrown down a hill?  Why did she falsely accuse her boss?  Why was she doing cartwheels while waiting to be questioned.  I know that doesn't make her a murderer, but it is odd.  Has Guday every said she was or wasn't involved?  It is a scary case and I feel for the parents of the murdered woman.
