This is an ideal choice for anyone interested in Native Americans. What is so nice about this compilation is that it includes legends that aren't the standard ones everyone knows. You will definitely gain new insights and parallels between our native ancestors and your own beliefs.

Very comprehensive from tales of creation to tricksters and heroes to the end of days -166 tales from North American tribes.

Very curious stories, an enjoyable read. Some of the tales don't necessarily have a clear ending. Vivid in it's language, you can almost picture these American Indians telling these tales around a fire!
