I received this book when I was working at a residential architecture firm that often did classic detailing. It is extremely helpful in designing the correct scale of classic elements like columns, porticos, etc. There are many good illustrations and diagrams. If you've ever gotten irritated seeing a built botched classic detail, this book is for you. You will learn the correct proportions to whatever you may be designing.
