I'm a big fan of the Amityville legend. I even got to visit "the house" itself a couple of years ago which was a real treat. I took a chance on this book since it is supposedly a true story. Believe me, it's not true but that's not to say it's not well written. The story would've been better as a stand alone story rather than tying itself to the Amityville series.
