I've read so many good things about this series on the Amazon boards. I was wondering if anyone had read them and if anyone knows why they are so expensive?  Vulnerable is $16.15, Wounded is $18.85, and Bound is $23.25--all for paperbacks! Are they out of print?  I was so tempted to buy them b/c of all the great things I've heard, but I just can't afford to pay that much. Are they worth the price?

Sorry -- no help here, I haven't read them.  That does seem like alot for a paperback, even a trade one.

They are self published...so that why they are so expensive.  Jenna MacClaine series was the same way a few years back but her her books managed to be picked up by a publisher, they were republished as mmpb and the price went way down.

I managed to get my hands on book 2 of the Amy Lane series here on PBS.  I refuse to pay that price for a book.....if anyone has book 1 and want to do a swap...please let me know!

Thanks for the info! That makes more sense.  Yes, I can't really justify that much either, no matter how good it is. There were so many people talking about how good it is that I was surprised there weren't more copies floating around. I bet the WL never moves. If I'm ever able to get the first one I will happily swap with you!

I have read all three and I absolutely loved them.  She is coming out with a 4th sometime in 2010.  I lucked into all three in a swap here on PBS and then traded them in the Paranormal WL Virtual Box because I never keep books but if I kept books, that would have been a series I would have kept.

ETA:  She also has some short stories that take place after the last book and before the next one that you can get off of her website.

Thanks Misty!  One just came up in the current PVB but I had already had my turn. But that means there's hope! :)

LOL, I was the one who got Misty lucky. I really enjoyed the books; they're good!
