Anatomy of an Illness is the story of recovery from a crippling and supposedly irreversible desease. The story of a partnership between a doctor and patient. The doctor engaged to the fullest the patients own capabilities for overcoming illness. The New England Journal of Medicine published this major article by a layman. One of the few times over that this was done. A lot to think about.
