"Ancient Egypt" is a concise overview like each book in the Pocket Histories series. However, considering the magnitude of subject matter it can be found more lacking than its peers.

It is a quick primer for someone with minimal knowledge of Egypt under the Pharaohs. However, if you have done other reading or studies in Egyptology, you may find it to be a simplistic review of material you are likely quite familiar with.
