Hardcover copy in good condition with dust jacket. I enjoyed reading this book, great for all hair types. Hair types 1-4, Straight hair being type 1 , Wavy type 2, Curly Type 3, Coily, kinky Textures Type 4 . Type 4b only shows twa (teeny weeny afro) , briefly mentions, locs, focuses maily on relaxed black hair. Overall a very good book if you are thinking of a major style or haircolor change.
