If I could give this book 6 stars I would. It is an engrossing and provocative, as well as helpful and informative, account of Esther Rothman's work with troubled teenage girls. Ms. Rothman was willing to give anything a try in order to find the best ways to really help these girls. Also, being written in 1970 this book is essential history of this area of teaching.
