In the second book of the Original Sinners series, Soren is under consideration for Bishop which has also caused an investigation into his personal life and his church. He sends Nora away for the summer to train young Michael on how to be a sub.

I feel like I know the characters and like them all more, but my Goddess does everyone have a horrifying background. I feel like I am reading about people knee deep in misery since birth. There are some disturbing insights that broke my heart and turned my stomach. No one in this series is complete; no one has exactly what they want. Do any of us? Its like they are all settling making due whilst needing something more.

The sex scenes in this book were definitely hotter than that of the ones in The Siren. The sex is vivid and titillating even the pain was exciting.

Once again this isnt a rainbows and flowers happily ever after kind of story. But the writing, again, is exquisite. I feel like I am a bit of a masochist myself these books make me feel horrible, yet I ache and crave for more.
