I know lots of people enjoy Max Lucado & have been blessed by his writing, but I cannot stomach it -- it's too manipulative, full of cliches & "devices," so I'm happy to pass his books along to someone who will enjoy them.

The Final week of Jesus
As the last stand was slipping through the hourglass, what mattered?
It's the final week. The players are nearing the stage. The props are being put into position. All of heaven watches. It is the long-awaited week. A week when no angel dared sing.
