I shrank a small red angora sweater (it's 70% angora and 30% nylon).  Can you felt angora, or does felting only work with wool?  The color is too pretty to throw away.  I tried, but I just couldn't do it.  Would anyone like to use this lovely red shrunken angora for a craft project?  PM me, please & thanks.

Shrinking is pretty much the same as felting. The nylon probably prevented it from getting as tight as you probably hoped. :-(
