Dare I say this? The author of Outlaw and Holy Warrior is finishing his third book in the Robin Hood series. It's due to be published in August, 2011. The title is King's Man and I'm #1 on the WL.   squeak!

#2   And I haven't even read the first two!  I'm thinking of using Outlaw as my "Recommended by an HF Forum Friend" book.

For those of you who have enjoyed any of Angus Donald's books, you have to check out his website at www.angus-donald.com. It is a hoot!

And if you've only read Outlaw, wait until you read Holy Warrior! That's why I'm so looking forward to King's Man.

Hi Jeanne,

This is a great site. Thanks for mentioning my books so much, and my website. I'm afraid my books haven't been published in the US yet so there probably won't be too many people swapping them (Outlaw is coming out on your side of the Pond in April) but it's nice to know that I'm being read in the Land of the Free as well as in my own European backyard. All the best, Angus

Well hello guys,

And thanks to all of you! Very nice to make your acquaintance, and please forgive my quaint Old Country ignorance of the Book Depository and other sophisticated channels of international commerce. I'm off to bed now ? it's 10.20pm in the UK and past my bedtime. So God Bless America ? and all of you ? and goodnight!

Angus

PS if you want to get in touch about anything concerning the books, I can be found at www.angus-donald.com

Boy, that is certainly the truth Letty! My DH cringes when he sees that I'm on book depository , amazon or any of the others! And when he has to bring in a "haul" from the mail - OMG!!

Ahhh, he popped in again while I was writing my post. Geez, I'm so excited I feel like a teenager!blush

Oh, now, this is just too cool! I read "Outlaw" just a few weeks ago and I can't wait to get the next book in my hands!

Thanks for visiting us, Angus! Your books will do well here; I'm sure of it! ;-)

Well, dang. There goes the book budget. Again.

smileyI'm looking forward to trying Outlaw myself. Hmm, guess I'll let hubby know one of the gifts he's buying for me this Christmas. LOL!

Genie - have the hubby get you BOTH - You're gonna want em - I guarantee it!

These books, BTW are not for the faint hearted. AD doesn't hold back when it comes to graphic details of what's happening" back in the day"!

I think I"m going to get these for the hubby - they sound like something he might like.  He's finished the first three Uhtred books (that's three books in less than one month!!!) and plans on starting the fourth one as soon as he's finished with the new bookcase he's building.
