By day shy Nathan Evans works as an animation artist for Sketch Republic Studios. In the evening he works on his own comic book creation of B-Girl. The inspiration for B-Girl is Brooke Tobin, an executive at the studio who doesn't even know he's alive. But when Brooke is having trouble with her computer, she comes to Nathan and they strike up a friendship. Nathan sees this as his chance to get the girl of his dreams. Now he just has to get Brooke to take him seriously, and dump her boyfriend who also happens to be head of the studio.

This is a unique romance told from the hero's point-of-view. Nathan is a bit of a geek who doesn't have a lot of experience with women. Brooke decides to help him woo the girl of his dreams, not knowing that the girl is actually herself. Nathan has supportive friends and family helping him out with his plan and dealing with his insecurity. Each chapter begins with a quote from a famous cartoon or comic book, and the book is full of references to cartoons that we all watched as children. The only drawback to this story is the need for an editor to pick up the misspellings throughout the book. My rating: 4.5 Stars.
