,Does anyone read Ann Rinaldi.  Does she write for children or young adults or is her reading level "adult".   I just got one of her books Or Give Me Death, which is about Patrick  Henry's wife, who suffered from a mental illness.   I'm only @25 pages into the book, but I don't want to waste my time reading a kid's book.  And I don't want to order books that are more geared for children.  I love historical fiction, but I want to read a book that would be for adults and not kids.

She writes YA and teen historical fiction. I've read a few by Rinaldi and what I've found is that the historical details are excellent but the stories revolve around 12-15 yr old girls so you see the events through the eyes of a young person (as well as the emotions).
