I'm normally a historical romance reader and recently discovered some contemporary romances by author Theresa Weir (Cool Shade & Amazon Lily) that I loved.  As a rule, I despise contemporary romance, but Theresa Weir's are excellent.  My husband is even reading Cool Shade and loves it.

I understand that Theresa Weir is the pen name of author Anne Frasier who now writes thrillers under her own name.   Any recommendations if I wanted to try an Anne Frasier thriller?   I think she has a great writing style and wonderful character development with quirky, unusual characters.  Her stories invariably draw me in.

Sorry, I've never even heard of her. But I tend to check out a new to me author on fantasticfiction.co.uk and if they also write romance, I will often avoid them anyway, as I am not a romance fan of any kind and many who write in both genres seem unable to leave the romancy bits out of their mysteries...but that name I don't even recognize.

Anyone else?

I read a couple of her books a few years back.  I seem to remember a serial killer and some graphic violence.  Hush was one of the books.  I'm sorry I don't remember more.
