While checking out some of my favorite authors on Fantastic Fiction yesterday, I was saddened to see that John Mortimer passed away this year.  I absolutely love his Rumpole series and will miss them.  There is a new book being published in October, "A Rumpole Christmas," if anyone is interested in putting it on your Wish List.

Aw, that's too bad.  I admit that I haven't read any of the Rumpole books but I've seen some of the television series episodes.  Good stuff!
