How long do you wait for a response from someone that you initiated a BOB swap with? Do you just leave it pending waiting for them to reply or do you cancel the request after a week? Thanks for the help!......

I think it's up to you, and don't remember there being a set date for that.

I'd at least give them a week, then see how I felt about it. If they're on vacation or sick or something they could always come back and initiate the same trade for books later, if they want to do a deal and the books are still around.

There isn't a set time frame, it depends on how badly you want the books. I have found that many BOB members have a more cavalier or laid back attitude (or maybe just aren't here that frequently), so I usually let it sit for a bit.

You could also send a PM asking if they've had a chance to look yet.  I had a period once when BoB offers had come in and I was unaware because I didn't get the emails alerting me.  Also, some people are very busy boxers and might already have a request, or 2, for the same books you're requesting.  They might be waiting for box A or B to settle before addressing your offer.  I'm not usually that busy with boxing, lol, but if I do encounter that situation I'll normally PM the 2nd person asking for the books and let them know.
