Technically, I know that "Box tops" and "Labels for education" are different.

To save space, I save box tops and education labels in the same container. Is it safe to assume that if you collect BT's, you collect the LFE's too??  I don't want to send them all to someone who wouldn't use them, but since they have the same function, I would assume that if you're going to use one you will use the other?  What are your thoughts?

Sorry if this message isn't making sense, I blame the cold medicine :)

Stephanie, I save both of these for my grandson's Christian school in TN.  They have really been able to get a lot of needed items with the box tops and labels for education.  I personally don't know what the difference is...I just know his school takes them both and use them wisely.  Jeanie

Stephanie,

Sorry, I should not answer questions when I am sick and tired. Box tops and labels for education are  different programs.   Labels for education used to be only Campbell soup, but now there are so many more products that you can do.  Lots of people don't sort them they just turn them in. It is helpfull if you separate them though it is then easier to mail out.  Anyone doing labels for education go to the web site and print out the bonus certificate it is worth 100 points when filled.  This is a different certificate then the one that came out in the newspaper.  Sorry for any confunsion!!!! My daughter has worked really hard at unconfusing people. Sorry. Jean

That's perfect. I didn't want to have to sort a container full when I'm sending, but since I don't know anyone in elementary school anymore, I save them for you all :)

What part of the Campbell Soup labels do you need or do you the entire label.  If I could just cut out a portion, would save on postage and space.

Box tops (General Mills) and Labels 4 education (Campbell's) are 2 different companies' programs-- not old and new terms-- those have always been the names of the 2 programs-- I ran them in 1997 for my daughters' school in NJ. ---J

If anyone ever has any extras to send, we will gladly take them here in Texas. My childrens school is in a rural location..sort of in the middle of no where...they aren't a rich community...and they are always in need of funding. They usually have a goal for box tops each year and barely make it to $100 or less.
So if you have them share please keep us in mind.
Thank you

Monica

Jeanne,

Jeanne is right they are different programs.  I was not reading carefully. Sorry for all of the confunsion.  If you are a label for education person there is another bonus certificate on the web site worth 100 points.  This is different then the one in the news paper. JEan
