Olivia Johnson was reported missing by her father. She was last seen on CCTV walking into an alley; but she never came out. DCI Julia Day works high-risk missing persons cases. She talks to Olivia's family, her roommates, and her friends. No one has heard from her. Julia believes this is a typical missing persons case until she is approached by a masked man. He tells her she must stop searching for Olivia, and she must frame somebody else for her murder. If Julia doesn't do it, he will let everyone know her secret...a secret that could tear her world apart.

This story started off a little slow. It is told from three different points-of-view; Julia, Olivia's distraught father, and the mother of the young man that Julia is supposed to frame. After a few chapters the pace picked up, and the plot started to twist and turn. There were enough surprises in this book to cover several books. I was never sure what would happen next.

I listened to the audiobook which had three narrators, but I was sometimes confused as to which person was speaking. The story was sometimes hard to follow. I had to keep going back and relistening to sections of the story. I liked this story and loved all the twists and turns, but I think some parts of the story could have been made clearer for a better experience. My rating: 4 Stars.
