Noticed this morning on my wishlist, there is an "expand wishlist" button for some books. When you click on it, it shows you all the other versions of the book that can be wishlisted so you can add them if you want to!  It also shows you how many others are wishing for each version, when it was last posted, etc. Nice for those who like to wishlist every available version!

May I ask, where do you see that option?  Is it at the top of the WL, proper, or is it an individual option for some books?  I am unable to spot it on my WL.  Either I'm so efficient that I'm managed to WL all versions of all the books I want (and I highly doubt that), or there are no other versions of ANY of my WL books (which also seems unlikely), or, I am a dork and cannot see it right there in front of me (most likely option).

Well you know just this morning I searched for the book Zinnia by Jayne Castle to see if I had all the versions on my WL. I searched All Books adn it only brought up 1 version for me.  So I was just looking at my WL and surprised to see there were 2 other versions.  I wonder why they didn't come up when I searched. And I searched all bindings and all books.  I know I did because it had defaulted to posted books only and I had to click it to All books to get it to bring up the 1 version I had on my WL. I never do WL only.

Or, if you already have wishlisted the other versions the button doesn't show up either. Julie - it's a new gray button below the 'tag' and 'note' buttons.

Julie - you need to go into the Options button on the right top of your WL and check that you want it to look for them first. Then you will see a button on the books that have alternate versions telling you how many other versions their are.

All of the details on the optimizer expander are in the What's New link on the very top right corner of your screen.

I didn't have to check anything under Options, the "expand" buttons were there the first time I looked at my WL after reading about the updated features.  Most of my WL books don't have the button, but a good number do.

That's interesting Diane, I didn't have the buttons when I just looked. I went to the What's New and it says you turn it on under the options. I did that and had quite a few of the buttons show up. 

Maybe mine was automatically set to yes because I previously had my options set to send me the "alternate version" emails?

I love this new feature.  In fact I was just able to order a WL book in a hardcover version than the paperback one I was waiting for.

I have always had my notifications set to be notified when an alternate version of a WL comes available, but I did go and check the appropriate box, under options, on the new WL, a couple of days ago, after reading the "What's new" section, but I must not have retained everything I read.  Well, guess I've got all alternate versions already WL'd because I still don't see it.  I'll be pretty excited when I do tho.  LOL.  Thanks for the answers and the help!!  :)

They're there!! They're there!!  They're all over the place!!  I knew I wasn't that efficient!  Ha!  Who knows why the delay, but now I feel like I'm "in the know".  Yipee!

Okay, I went to the OPTIONS button and looked at it, and it read "show me alternate versions when I wish for a book".  As I thought, I hadn't checked it, but in reading it, wouldn't that mean to show the alternate. versions at the time you add the book to your wishlist?

This is awesome!  I'd been around #60 on a list for a book that wasn't moving at all, and it turns out I just had the wrong ISBN for the paperback wishlisted.   Now I'm on the wishlist for a different version and it estimates I should get it within two weeks.

I don't use wishlist cause I don't have many credits, but like the idea of the new feature cause I post a lot of WL books that have different ISBNs even though they are the correct format--paperback or hardback. Until last week, I never seemed to get any requests for these other versions even though the site said they offer people the other versions if their first choice isn't available.
