Received Death on the Family Tree (#1 of the Family Tree Mysteries), by Patricia Sprinkle through the PBS system but I'm not sure about reposting it. There are 4 pages where the ink smeared, obvious that something went wrong during the printing process. Only a paragrah or so one an each of the pages is affected, not an entire page. It does make a couple of the paragraphs difficult to read but not enough so that you lose any content. As far as I was concerned it didn't really affect readabilty. It's a WL book so thought I'd get some recommendations as to post or not. . |

I've bought books before (from Wal-Mart & such) where when the pages were copied at the printer they were a bit blurry & they read fine. Personally I wouldn't care if I received a book like yours because it's a printing error. But thats me. |

I think if it's a printing error and the text is still readable then it's postable. If it was smeared because of water damage than no. I also wouldn't post a book with a printing error that caused parts to be unreadable-missing pages or pages too blurred to read. To save yourself from aggravation-I would post it in the book bazaar. Post the book and what the printing error is and find someone to post it directly to their WL. Then you don't have to worry. (it wouldn't bother me if it were on my WL as long as I could read those paragraphs.) |
