I cannot recall can we use credits to pay for it? Mine expired and I'm credit rich and cash poor :-P

I don't believe so, but I could be mistaken.

You could sell some credits & use that money to buy your membership though.

I offered credits for a gift of a gold key. Basically selling credits for a gift of a gold key instead of money. So I'm good for another nine months. (PBS is not set up to receive credits directly for the gold key.)

Seen this over in the Book Bazaar. But I did it in a chat thread.
