I really liked this one. Says a lot about some mother - daughter relationships and what it's like growing up as a woman in modern America. Altough, it has something to do with Elvis, it's a great read for everyone. Elvis is more like a broken dream which the main character refuses to let go.

Fantastic!! Silvie's mother has always been obsessed with Elvis. The obsession has caused much turmoil in the family. Silvie has grown to dislike her mother, but now she is sick with cancer. This is one of the best books that I have read in awhile!
