One of the books on my WL was just posted and I'm number one on the list.  All my WL books are on auto request.  However, I had an email this morning telling me I had 48 hours to reply in order to receive it.  When I logged on, there it was, waiting for me to accept it.  Is auto request not working?  When another one came up a few weeks ago it was taken care of automatically.

When you listed it, did you go back into your WL and change it to autorequest-YES? The default is NO, so I have had this problem when I forgot to change the setting. 

Or maybe it was an alternate version that you didnt have on your wishlist?

Linda - Yes it was on auto request.  I check the list at least once a week to see how close I am to the top.

Cheryl - You may be correct.  My first thought was that it could be different, but had no way to check the ISBN or anything else since it had been removed from my WL.  Anyway I cheerfully accepted it and hope the person who posted it doesn't change his/her mind about sending it.  Had that happen once with a WL book.  Bummer.

Did you receive any emails indicated the book was posted and then couldn't be sent lately? I caught one of those just by accident. It  rec'd the mail it was available, the poster must not have been able to send it, it went back onto my shelf without auto request even though it had it before that.
