I have an "A la Carte" membership.  My Wishlist contains the max amount of books.  I order a Wishlisted book and it ends up lost in the mail.  Does it get added to back my Wishlist (as usual) or am I SOL?

or

I order the only posted copy of a book and it goes lost.  Does it get added to my Wishlist (as usual) or am I SOL?

It will be added back to your WL even though it will put you over the maximum.

Right now, my wishlist is at 203 even though I'm not Gold Key, because three books I tried to order before the handling charge takes effect timed out.

If I had a wish-listed book come available and requested it before the 2/15 changes, if the book should go lost in the mail or arrive damaged, it would go on my wish list, yes? When another copy becomes available after the changes, would I have to pay the new transaction fee if I'm an a la carte member, or would that not apply since the original wish list request was before the changes? Things seem to be getting very convoluted.

Margaret, I'm certainly no expert, but if the book goes back on your wishlist, then I think the next post & request would be subject to a fee - it's basically a new request...  Of course, you always can contact Admin and ask for consideration due to circumstances - it doesn't cost anything to ask...

Margaret, in the case of a lost book, when the credit is returned the Swap Fee will be returned also. In the case of a Problem Swap, the Swap Fee will be returned when the Credit is Refunded so people need to make sure that Senders are using the Credit Refund button in the Transaction Archive when they return credits and not just using the Give Credit button on the receiver's account.

If a WL transaction was started before the change and no Swap Fee was paid, I am pretty sure that no swap fee would be refunded and a new WL grant at a later date would incur a swap fee. That is going to be a very unusual situation for the system to handle.
