When searching for books and you find several of the same title but with different ISBN is it OK to wishlist more than one or all of them.  I'm thinking you might get it faster that way.  I'm new here and just learning.  Also is there some place that lists all the acronyms?  Thanks to everyone.

Yes you can WL all the different ISBN of the same book.  Many people do that so they can cover all the bases and if they are not particular about which copy they get.  Just watch out for the 6 digit ISBN numbers.  Because those numbers were set up by PBS for that particular copy of that book only, it will not do you any good to WL that copy.

Just remember, when the book does get offered and mailed to you, take the other ISBN for that book off your WL or you will end up with more than one copy of the book.

Check the help center for the acronyms.  I think I remember reading them there when I first joined.

Yes, you can WL more than one version of the same book- lots of us do that to try to get the book faster.  Just remember to remove the other versions when you get one of them from your WL.

For acronyms, try the Help Center first- I don't know that there is a list of acronyms, but you might be able to find specific ones by searching on them there.  If you can't find the answer, just post and ask here, and someone will help you.

It's a good idea not to put more than one version of a title on "autorequest" :-)

The only downside to listing multiple ISBN's is when you reach the 200 limit on your wishlist.  Between mine and hubbies wishlist books, I recently had to remove some duplicate ISBNs to add more books.

Yes, wishlisting all copies of a book can get you to 200 VERY quickly. You don't have to have nearly 200 wished-for books to max out your wishlist. I frequently take hardbacks off my wishlist so that I can have space for other stuff since I don't care about the binding and they cost more to mail out again anyway.
