I would not do anything at this point. If you are no longer interested, PM her and indicate it as such. If she then sends the book anyway, you get a free book and don't owe her a credit--that's covered somewhere in the Help Docs. Cheryl |

There is no way to mark a book "not received". If you click on that button you will just get a message saying to wait longer for it to come. It does not actually do anything. The system assumes that if you don't get a book by the "lost" date, that it is not coming, refunds your credit, and takes the book off the "Books Enroute" tab. It does leave a way in the Transaction Archive for you to mark the book received, if you do, in fact receive it later. But, effectively, the system has already performed all the actions that it is ever going to do in the case of a book not arriving. |

There is no way to mark it not received, that is effectively what happened when it went lost in the system. If they send the book and you have not gotten another copy from somewhere/someone else, you will have to give the credit through your Transaction Archive. Cheryl is not quite correct in saying you will get a free book if they send it. The exception to marking it received only comes into play if you end up with 2 copies of the book. At this point there is nothing you need to do. If you decide to re-order the book from someone else you should PM this member first and let them know that you are requesting it from someone else and she will not get credit if she mails the book. |
