This is a very captivating story and well researched by the author. I liked all the characters and they are fairly well developed. This book was way too short for all the concepts and possibilities that the author opened up in the story. As a result, I was disappointed by the ending. There just weren't enough loose ends tied off for me.

Nevertheless, I highly recommend this book. I read Robinson's "Raising the Past" and thought it was so-so. "Antarktos Rising" is a much better book. I'm a huge fan of James Rollins, and this book is very similar to the types of stories Rollins writes.

I agree with the other reviewer that for such BiG concepts the book is awfully short. Its as if the author wrote this big outline and then didnt want to write enough to fill it all in. The ending is corny and rushed. A book that is filled with great ideas but short on character development. Relies too much on cliches and surprises that we expect. A mediocre effort at best.

Really good book, different but good. Lot of action and things I did not know.

I Love this Book. I am most definitely not a gusher, but... I LOVE THIS BOOK!

I have read a couple of Jeremy Robinson's books and they were good, but "Antarktos Rising" is one of the most original, interesting and unique books I have read in a while.

The whole concept of the book is so far out in left field that you just never see what's coming. The action is non stop. The characters are very well developed. Although the end is a little predictable.

In my opinion, this book elevates Robinson to writing royalty along with Preston, Child, and James Rollins.

If you like escapist literature which really makes you escape you need to read this book! Just be sure and budget plenty of time because it is almost impossible to put down.
