. . .any of the following series?

Janny Wurts' Wars of Light and Shadow
Chaz Brenchley's Outremer novels
Charles Saunders' Imaro novels
Samuel R. Delaney's Neveryon stories

I've run into mentions of them that sound interesting, but haven't heard much about them from people whose opinions I trust. So have you read any of them, and if so, what did you think? If you have deliberately avoided them, why?

Thanks much!

I've read Janny Wurts' Wars of Light and Shadow and I've really liked them.  Since the last story arc was wrapped up, it should be fairly easy to read.  I had the problem of reading "Curse of the Mistwraith" right after it was published, which dropped me into the "read as they are published and forget everything that's happened between publications" spin.  Looks like she's working on a new story arc so I'm eager to get my hands on those as they come out.

The premise of the story line is very interesting, and I really don't want to get into more of it as I can't remember what happened in which book, so I may spoil.

I haven't heard of any of the other authors.
