Julie, that's a really difficult question to answer without any other information.  What are his interests?  At 16 my boys read everything from YA on up, depending on what captured their attention at any given moment.   I might catch them reading Shakespeare or Dickens, then turn around and they'd be reading Stephen King or a biography of Martin Luther King.  One preferred to stick with science fiction over anything else, the other two aren't big fans of the genre.  If you can add some information to your post, it might help us figure out if we have anything that might be of use to you.  :-)

I agree... I have a ton of military history type stuff that is pretty interesting if they like that sort of thing... also Stephen King and XFiles on my bookshelf.  It all depends on his interests!

I have a book on my shelf called Finding Buck McHenry - it's a baseball fiction book.

Lol, yeah... the only 16 y.o. boy I know...enjoys reading theology books! haha. But my shelf is full of YA books, so take a look, maybe there's something he'd like.

Julie,

I have a number of science fiction boks on my shelf if that's a subject he might be interested in.  Also have a number of books listed as teen but I can't recall how many are male oriented as oppossed to the more girl oriented subjects.  Feel free to browse.  If you see more than one I'd be willing to work out a deal.

What about Friday Night Lights? I don't have that on my bookshelf, but it's a great book . . and one that boys definitely love.
