I'm trying to print out the lable and postage and it will not let me click on the link to print out postage and DC.  It lets me click on the options of just printing out the mailing lable, or just the DC without postage, but not the top one with Printable postage.

Also, it says my book weighs 2 lbs and 4 oz.  Which it doesn't.  It's only 1 lb 4 oz.  So I tried changing the weight and changing it back.  Still no go.

I hope its just a glitch.

It happens every so often that the postage system goes down.  It's probably only temporary.  Check back on it in a few hours.

ETA - always weigh your books.  The weights PBS has are frequently way off.  Then when you have weighed them and have the correct weight add it to the book data through the link on the book's listing page.

Well, snivel it's still down.  I'll have to wait until morning.

For the first time there's a red notice that my book weighs over 13 oz and I must take it to the PO.

Maybe that's why it's misbehaving.

I will take it to the PO to drop it off but I wnat the postage and dc printed on the label.  That way I don't have to wait in line.  It's a substation and there's a way for me to drop off my books.  The people know me and that makes a big difference to m,e.

Yeah I saw the red box about over 13 oz too. That's a first for me also. I really like the printable postage because I can never go to the post office. I'm sad.

Don't know about the red box but I put any book that will squeeze in, into my mailbox.  I've never had a problem with it.  I've never had any problems with the mail service here.  The few times that I have mailed pbs packages from the post office, no one has ever questioned me about media mail.  I've mailed many books that weigh over 13 oz. from my mail box.
