I"m trying to find a romance book that I read years ago. I remember I read it in either 1988 or 1989. It wasn't a Harlequin book. I don't remember much about the book but I do remember 1 thing about it. The couple in the book ended up getting marred and this was mid way though the book. I remember thinking it was nice that they were cuase most of the time they didn't in books like this and they both wanted to.

I do remember the cover. It's your standard 2 lovers holding each other cover. They are on a white horse...she's in front of him and they are both looking out at the reader not at each other....he had on a white shirt and had long black hair. I think her hair was black also and she was in a white off the shoulder dress....but, I'm not sure about that.

I know it's not much to go on but, I gave this book away years ago and I wish I still had it. Can anyone help me?

One other thing I do remember is that the book had a lavender spine and on the spin up at the top was a circle with the couples face on it from the cover. I also don't think this was a Zebra Romace book but, I just can't remember the company that did their spines like this. If I could I may beable to narrow it down a bit more.

Thanks for any help you might be able to give me to find this book.

I think zebra romances had hearts...trying to remember because I read tons of bodice rippers about this time though mostly zebras 'cause they were full of sex...was it an indian romance or just western?

Well, all I can contribute without knowing more is that Zebra/Kensington did do some spines like you describe, because I have some like that:P  Some of my older Jo Goodman books have the miniature close-up shot of the cover art - the H&H's faces  - in a small circle at the top portion of the spine.  I don't think it's any of those, btw.  None of them are on horses anyway:P
