I read a book years ago about a woman that has a husband having an affair with her sister and her son has been abducted while riding his bike in the woods.  I think the boy had been held in an old mansion in the woods.  I remember the cover was a picture of a bicycle in the woods.

sounds like the plot of a Mary Higgins Clark book
