I read it about 4 years ago & remember the whole story, but for the life of me can't remember the title or author. It starts out with the woman giving birth in the back of a truck on the side of the highway. She receives help from a guy who turns out to be wealthy. She gives birth to a little girl. She works at the mall decorating (it's around Christmas time at some point in the book). I hate to say too much more without ruining it for anyone who plans to read it. I've just been racking my brain all week trying to remember the title, but for the life of me can't. TIA Ladies! Last Edited on: 2/25/10 12:02 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

That is what I was thinking too. |

No, that's not it unfortunately. It was a hot summer day when she gave birth. The guy that stopped to help her was described as being a dirty, scruffy cowboy type. |
