I'm trying to help out a friend's 20-something daughter with finding the names of these books. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I copied the questions from a Facebook post she made. I figured I would post the question here since so many of you are so tuned-in and have always been so helpful in the past.

**** I read a young adult suspense novel when I was younger that featured a female main character. She moved/traveled to a small town with very little going on, and was bored. She met a guy (he might have had a sister, too), but becomes suspicious about him. Turns out he doesn't age and will not die naturally. If I remember correctly, he dies at the end, possibly in a car accident.

*** I remember reading a series of books when I was younger. The main characters were a group of friends--teenage girls--who were able to time travel using an object. One book took place on a US military base in Japan; another saw the girl(s) land in a castle in medieval England. I cannot remember the title of the series, the titles of any of the books, or even the characters' names, so any help at all would be appreciated.

Thanks!

The first book sounds like a book my sister read called "Kathy's Book"  I never read it though, so I may be wrong about that.  It just sounds similar.

First one sounds kind of like something by William Sleator.

You might try posting your descriptions on www.loganberrybooks.com
