So Amazon has sent me 2 copies now.  There's a chunk of both books where the pages are printed upside down and backwords.  Just wondering if this is just an Amazon problem or if I buy it somewhere else will I have the same problem?

I've gotten defective books like this before, and sometimes if you contact the publisher they'll send you a perfect copy completely free of charge. It might be worth a try.

I'll have to look for that, I ordered it from Amazon, too. Though I don't know when they will ship it since I pre-ordered a book with it which doesn't come out til April. And my order states that's when they will ship the order. So guess I'll be waiting a while LOL

Well I just called Amazon and told them the replacement is also defective.  She put in an order for an investigation and the book will not be available for ordering until they determine if all their copies are that way.  They sent me a link to print out  postage paid return label.  But maybe I'll call the publisher anyway.  Although if Amazon is giving me a credit for sending the books back then I might be out of luck there. I just didn't want to order it from Barnes & Noble and have the same problem.

One time I lost one of the cassettes to a 17 cassette Harry Potter audio book. I called the publisher to see if I could buy just a replacement of that cassette and they sent me the whole thing free.

OK.  I just went to the publisher's page. It says to return damaged book to the resaler and they'll alert the publisher of the problem.  I'm tempted to wait a few days, speed read it and then send it back.  I mean I was willing to pay for a good copy. But I'm not paying $10 for a defective book.

I just got my copy from amazon yesterday and it is perfect. I am already reading it, but flipping through the whole thing I saw nothing out of the ordinary and i checked a few times just to be sure.

My B&N copy was fine...I liked the book...not as much as Forbidden Pleasure, but it was good. I can't wait for Khalid's story!

Might try emailing the author, too, they like to know.  I remember a friend reading a book and got to a real good, crucial part in the middle with 2 pages missing, told her to email the author who had a good copy she sent out to her right away (got it 2 days later) and who then contacted her publisher.
