I've done a  couple of these, they are easy and turned out beautiful. They are time consuming though.

My only problem is that the fruit wants to slide to the bottom of the skewer. Does anyone know how I can anchor it? I thought about placing a gumdrop on the skewer first but not sure if that would do it.

Thoughts?

  I think the gumdrops would be a good idea, as well as the mini marshmallows.  I did see a few things like this on Food Network, you could try there as well to see what they used.  They are gorgeous to look at!
