Hi, Who is a member of SwapaCD?  I joined a few days after I joined PBS.  I posted my 10 CDs and got a credit.  Right away I got two requests and have received 2 CDs as well.  Then there has been no actrivity in either direction.  I was just wondering if many PBS members were also members of SwapaCD.  I saw that there are only 4 SwapaCD members from my hometown, and 2 of those have no CDs listed anymore.  I was sorry to see so few members because it seems like a good site, and you can transfer credits between it and PBS.

I am a swapaCD member too.  SwapaCD has far fewer members than PBS, so your requests are bound to be far fewer.  I also think that people are moving away from CDs as their primary source for music, whereas the same does not appear to be true for books.  They need to start swapaMP3 or something!

I'm a member.  But I only listed my cds so I could transfer those credits to the sister dvd site.  Yep, it's been slow lately, but I figure it's because I'm down to the crappy cds on my tower, LOL.

Yeah, I joined all three sites in early January.

Must be my CDtower I guess, I've mailed out over 50 CD's in that time.  It has given us a nice number of credits to take over here and to the SwapaDVD site - since that is mostly where we want the credits.

While the sites are pretty much identical on the face, I find it facinating to see how different the people and customs can be on the three sites.  For instance, on SwapaCD on most of the swaps I end up with in a PM exhcange - often just a friendly thank you, but I have found the swaps give me much more member interaction than I've had here on PBS.

On the other hand, the boards are pretty much deserted on the SwapaCD site, so I don't get the same community feel that I do on PBS.

Well, maybe it's just interesting to me.... LOL.

edited because here and hear are NOT the same word.

I am a member but I stopped buying CDs years ago and most of my collection is pretty beat up, so I didn't have many nice enough to list. A few of them were wish listed, so I have some credits, but I haven't found anything I want yet.
