I know that there is usually a delay of several hours between when the post office physically "scans" the PBS DC code into their system & when the scan shows up in the PBS system in order to receive your credit(s). I just sent in some feedback to TPTB because although the USPS site shows that my DC was "Accepted" at the post office on 9-4-09, I still have not received the credits to my PBS account- now 2 days later! It still shows the "credits pending" faded check-mark icon, and the "Accepted" status does not show under the "details" button... Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem, (if it's "system-wide"... something working slowly?) or just me? (Edited for spelling...) It is not unusual for there to be a delay. Just because the PO scanned it does not mean they sent the information to PBS. It IS a holiday weekend so maybe the info didn't get sent. |

Well, just got my feedback answer... they added the credits manually & they're "looking into" what went wrong... glad I sent it in :) (Knew something was wrong, as I've never had it take 2 days before...) |

I'll Agree Debbie, I mailed several on 9/4 and they showed pending for a few hours. But they switched as usual after the USPS download, and my credits appeared at 4 am on 9/5. Glad your credits came through! |

If your post office uploads scans into the system fairly often, is it possible that PBS got the info on those scans before they were marked mailed? If the scan gets to the system before that, that scan won't trigger the the Quick Credit (that info is in the Help Center somewhere). I know my PO uploads at 3pm and 6 pm sometimes, so if I am taking books about that time and know I won't be on the computer until the evening I have to mark them mailed before I go (and I hate that!!), but thats what PBS says to do. |

No, I always mark them mailed before I go in so that that doesn't happen... must have been a glitch or something, I guess... Anyway... it's all good :) |
