I just finished it today and I read it in two days.  I really enjoyed it and I had to go to the library to get the next one because I wanted to know what happens next.  Anyone else read it?

I have read the series over the past few years and liked all the books.

I just finished the final book in the series, Home to Big Stone Gap, and decided to read the series again.

I also liked Trigianis other books.  In an e mail, the author said she was writing the screenplay.  I told her that I somehow always pictured Ave Marie being played by Holly Hunter.

I love the Big Stone Gap series!  These are among the most purely enjoyable books I have ever read.

Going back to one of her books is like going home again.   I love her writing, she makes the characters seem so real.   They could be me or my neighbors.

I have not been disappointed in any of her books.  Bellisimo!

Would also recommend Peter Pezzelli---chauvanist that I am, I normally don't read male writers, but he is wonderful and he writes with the same intimacy as Trigiani.
