I'm almost finished with it and I'm not about to start Ernest Hemingway's "The Sun Also Rises."  I was thinking of suggesting the two for my book club and wondered if anyone had any thoughts about that?  Thanks. smiley

I am reading The Paris Wife right now. I think reading The Sun Also Rises alongside would be fine but I am dying to re-read A Moveable Feast now. It was Hemingway's memoir about this very time period in his life, with his wife and baby Bumby while he was writing in Paris. It's hands-down my favorite Hemingway book and makes me long for Paris. As an added treat, maybe your book club would enjoy watching Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris after reading the books.

I'll be taking a class on authors who were living in Paris during that magical era. We'll be reading A Moveable Feast (which I've never read) and Geniuses Together. A friend of mine, who's reading The Paris Wife, says that book will fit in perfectly with that class. I'm so glad I saw Midnight in Paris. I love how all this is fitting together!
