I got it around my seventh birthday, so it's understandably... well loved. I found it behind a book shelf today, and it just came back to me how much I love that story- I'm ordering a new copy, maybe hardcover, when I get a chance.
I don't think the synopsis does it justice, but here's the link - http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/9780425036372-Winged+Pharaoh It's been a while, but I remember it being such a sweet story, really moving and I cant think of any others I've read in exactly that style.
Anyway, if anyone else has read it, I'd love to talk to you about it =)
Eta- reading this over, it sounds like I'm trying to hawk the book or something, just wanted to say I'm not! Just curious if anybody else likes it =)

I have the book. I got it a few months ago from a PBS member. I am a huge fan of Egyptian fiction, so I have several of Joan Grant's books. Maybe I will read it next so we can discuss it.
