Lisa Cach or Laurie Grant.  I came across these authors recently and both look interesting.  Any comments?

I usually enjoy Lisa Cach and _Dream of Me_ is one of my big favorites.

I have a bunch of Lisa Cach I haven't read yet.  All of the "historical" type stuff anyway.  The only one I've read so far is The Mermaid of Penperro, and I liked it a lot.  It didn't really come across as a "paranormal" romance to me - which is not really my thing anyway, so that was good.  I figured I'd try the rest of her books, but I just haven't gotten to them yet.

I read Wildest Shore by Lisa Cach and it was a good book, lots of adventure and a few good love scenes. The monkey adds a little bit of humor also.  I've also read Midnight Silk by Laurie Grant and I have it on my keeper shelf lol.

Oh, I just remembered who Laurie Grant is. No offense to anyone, but I didn't care for the books by her I've tried. I remember her as a pretty formulaic writer.

I've never heard of either of them.  Guess they didn't start out writing categories.

Formulaic....I shudder at the thought.  I just really loved the covers of her books so I figured she might be good :)

Thanks for the advice, all.  I'm going to try Cach on a friend's recommendation who absolutely loved one of her books.

BTW, Grant is one of those often offered in a good deal in the book bazaar, so if you ever decide you want to try her after all, check there first.
