I am about 1/3 of the way through Adrian's latest release Ashes of Midnight and am finding myself a little disappointed with the book so far..I loved every one of the last ones and am stumped wondering why this one just doesnt have me like the others did. I keep putting it down and finding it hard to pick up again (so not like me) I am hoping it picks up speed. Anyone else out there feel disenchanted by this latest in the Midnight Breeds series? |

It was good, but got slow in parts... I blame it on the male lead. :P |

I agree with the others, it was pretty good - but dragged at times and the romance didn't sizzle (at least for me). It was rather forced. But the book does carry on with the plot line that threads through the series. So it's interesting to see more of the other characters and learn more about what's happening. |

I just finished it too and I did have a hard time reading the book. I just couldn't really get into it and I kept putting it down but I would have to say the way she ended it leaves room for alot of action in the next one. |

It was a slow start for me as well, but I feel like it picked up midway and really enjoyed it after that. |

Read it as soon as it came out. I had same problem getting totally into it. I have her whole series so far but this one didn't grab me the same. Maybe because I really never saw Andreas as a Breed male because he ran a Darkhaven. But it turned out he can kick a**. |

It was my least favorite in the series by far! |
