I am new to the site. I have had 8 books requested from my bookshelf and have 3 credits. I have been trying to order from several people and have been getting cancellations because we are military and live on an overseas base. When I mail something to anyone in the states I have to fill out a customs form and I dont have a problem with that. Its very easy. other than that it costs the same as mailing in the states. I think it would be awesome if there was an icon that you could add to your profile if you are willing to ship to an apo addresss. I have one on mine warning people that I am at an apo and I keep getting cancelations. Maybe we could start a thread somewhere for people to advertise their bookshelfs that ship to apo's so it wont be so hard to find someone that will.

I'm honored to ship to APOs.  My son is in the military, so I have a stack of customs forms already sitting here, ready to use!

Hi Dawn,

Welcome to PBS. I'm happy to ship to APO's but I don't have much at the moment.

I think a thread about APO's would be a good idea.

i'm sorry you've had seve3ral cancelations.  I know many members don't actually go to the p.o. so doing APO's would be difficult. I hope you soon are able to get lots of books you like.

I just did my first one and it went smoothly. So if I have anything you like, order away~! You can also make me an offer (3/1, 2/1, etc).

There was a thread a while back in the CMT forum where a bunch of people said they'd be willing to ship to APOs.

I don't normally get to the PO either but I'd do it for an APO order.  It'd just take me a bit longer than normal to mail.

Here's one of the threads from CMT with 4 pages of people that said they'd gladly ship to an APO address

Hey Dawn, I also ship to APOs.  I keep a stack of custom forms in my desk and usually ship the next day.  If you see anything you'd like, I'd be happy to offer a 2/1 deal.   Welcome to PBS!

Dawn,

As someone who just returned back to the states in January, I know your pain!

I will happily mail to you or anyone else at an APO address.

Welcome to PBS! I gladly ship to APO's and have done so several times without any problems. Mostly I post wishlist books so I don't have many on my shelf that would pop up if I did have an Icon for someone to see. However, I do like the idea of having the Icon.

I'm also always happy to send to a military address.  But, I usually just post wishlisted books, so I don't have anything on my bookshelf right now.

Add me to the list of APO shippers.

My shelf is a mix of all genres and the deal is any 5 books for 2 credits.

Add me to the list of members who are very happy to ship to APO's.  I have sent a few books in the past and feel the extra step to fill out the custom's form is the least I can do for those serving our country.

Not only am I willing to ship to APO's, but, I like to do so - It makes me feel that, in some small way, I am making life easier for a military family.

I offer 3 for 2 shipping to all APO addresses.

Welcome to PBS!  I would be happy to send to an APO!  I have a PO box and go to the post office most days.  It is fun to send books all over!  A while back I received a book from an APO, found out she was in Germany!

Welcome to PBS!  I would gladly ship to an APO address. My husband is in the military so I am very familiar with the custom forms we had to fill out while he was in Iraq. I also like the idea of having some kind of icon we could add to our account.
