Just wondering.  Since this forum gets less traffic than another, I'm posting in both.  :-O  I got this in my inbox, wondered if anyone here was participating:  (if not, it's something for the writers to keep in mind if they do it again next year!)

Dear Amazon Top Reviewer (I am sooo nowhere near a top reviewer...),  

As you may know, we launched the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award (ABNA) October 1st. The grand prize winner of the ABNA will receive a full publishing contract from Penguin Group (USA), among other prizes.  

We've been delighted by the number of submissions we've received, and as such, would like to extend an opportunity to you to participate as a judge in the contest. Your input will help us select which of these authors will then have their full manuscripts reviewed by Publisher’s Weekly and proceed to the semi-finals in January.  

Authors entering the competition have submitted excerpts (5,000 words or less) of their manuscript for you to read, rate, and review. We can provide you with excerpts to review on an easy-to-use website, so you can access them easily at your convenience. Although we welcome whatever level of involvement you are able to provide, we are currently asking for your review of 50 - 100 excerpts by December 17th. Your reviews will appear on Amazon.com detail pages for this highly visible project.

If you are interested, please reply to xx indicating your interest as well as an estimate as to how many excerpts you will be able to review between now and December 17th. We will then set you up in our review system and give you instructions as to how to proceed. (And, also, please keep in mind that if you have already entered the contest as an entrant, you cannot also be a judge).
